I love a good workspace shot! What can I say? I just love my little painting area. I’ve always loved this window-happy space, but I did some serious IKEA organizing about a year ago, which has made me love it even more. My little slice of heaven.

This weekend is the Scottsdale Arts Festival.   I LOVE the Scottsdale Arts Festival!  Not only is the weather completely and utterly perfect, but it’s held in my favorite chilling spot, where you can lay around in the softest, greenest grass in town. I spent the evening painting and listening to Jamie Ridler’s Your Creative Spark recordings.  I’ve wanted to get them for awhile, so I used some Christmas money and treated myself. These interviews are awesome.   I found myself laughing, crying, laugh/crying.  And to hear Goddess Leonie’s voice and sit through the short meditation with her was really moving.  So many women out there doing creative things.  It EXCITES me.  It’s so comforting »

I am so excited and thrilled about this. I finally finished putting my little book together!! I started doing the drawings last summer, and being the “Ugh, computers” girl that I am, it took me a long time to get around to scanning in all the pictures and setting up the book.
