Yay!  My first Wishcasting Wednesday!    Jamie asks “How do you wish to shine?”

Oh man.  Right now I feel like I’m about to explode into a thousand different bright light colors and go zooming all over the world.   I am starting to LIVE BIG!!

In fact, I’ve just today discovered what my theme for 2010 is going to be:

LIVE BIG.  TAKE SMALL ACTIONS.

So, I wish to SHINE, to move through the world, as a WOMEN WHO MAKES HER DREAMS COME TRUE!!!!

Every since I graduated from college in 1997 with a boring degree that I didn’t care about AT ALL, I’ve had this dream of going back to school for a degree that I actually want.   Having this dream and not even knowing how to make it happen has contributed to making me feel so small, so stuck.

Well, yesterday I had this realization that it doesn’t have to look the way I’ve always thought it should look.  Like, where I quit my job and move to California and go to school and rack up $40,000 in student debt, etc etc etc.  I’ve started thinking in baby steps.  And it finally feels possible.

Today I signed up for prerequisite classes for, DRUMROLLLLLLLLLL,  ART SCHOOL!!!!  I’m starting off with the basic credits at the local community college, just because I’m impetuous and I want to start RIGHT NOW.  And then,  BIGGER DRUMROLL…I’m going to transfer to ASU, Fall 2010.

Right now I’m just feeling like the universe is going to help me make this happen.  I don’t know how this is going to work with my job and with money, but I am (for once in my life) holding my heart in a space that just KNOWS I am capable of making this happen.

And if I can make THIS happen, this dream I’ve had since I was 23, then I can make ANYTHING happen.

Little edit:  I totally have to add here that it was listening to Jamie’s interview with Bliss Chick, who talked about going back to dancing at age 40, that truly spurred me into action on this.  That and a nice little meeting with my counselor last night who basically said, “No, you are NOT crazy for wanting to do this. “     So here we go!!
